THREE ALARM FIRE IN DARBY BOROUGH MAY 1ST -Chief 04-9 arrived on scene with fire on all floors of a two story M/O/R, reported possible entrapment. Command reported fire and smoke in the exposure, requested the second alarm. Interior crews report fire extended the other exposures request the third alarm. Multiple lines in service. Truck Companies opened up.

DWELLING IN CHESTER TOWNSHIP MAY 2-At 6 a.m. The Rescue was dispatched on the Box to Carter Street in Chester Township for a House Fire. The Rescue marked up with a crew of 7 under the command of Deputy 40. While in route, 47-9 advised that the P.D. was on scene with a working kitchen fire. Not long after, Engine 63 arrived on scene with Heavy Fire Showing and went in service with an 1 3/4 line. Ladder 68 & Rescue 40 arrived next. The crew from Ladder 68 started to the roof for ventilation, while the crew from Rescue 40 started a 2nd line, assisted with checking for extension, and did some opening up. The Fire was placed under control not long after by Carter Ave Command (J.Comisiak). Other units on scene: 47(Chester Twp.), 68(MHTFD), 63(Green Ridge), 52(Brookhaven), 57(Upland), RIT 39(Lower Chichester), RIT 23(Media), and Crozer EMS. Thanks to Dave Smiley for the Pictures.
